Bauhaus Mart Stam S33 Chair

The s 33 is the very first cantilever chair in history, the result of stam's experimental genius. Made of curved tubular steel, without rear legs, it relies on the flexibility of the material to offer surprising comfort and a floating appearance. Sleek, comfortable, a timeless line that has become a classic of 20th-century design. Here, a 1970s edition in chrome-plated steel and black split leather. The polished chrome is sparkling, there are still some pits on the floor bar at the back (it's very discreet). The upholstery is impeccable, no stains or scratches, there is a mark on the front of the seat due to the fact that the support bar underneath was in contact. A tension adjustment system exists, I re-tensioned the seat to prevent contact, the mark will disappear over time. The glides have been changed.
