Modernist table "Reconstruction" from 1945 - 1955 by Renée Gabriel: furniture for disaster victims

Modernist furniture from 1945 to 1955 by rené gabriel. Nice table with formica veneer, the matching buffet is also on sale in my shop. The "reconstruction" furniture was designed by designer rené gabriel in 1945 just after the second world war at the request of the french state (ministry of reconstruction and urbanism) in order to create emergency furniture to quickly refurnish the affected populations with quality furniture at a symbolic price. These chairs, tables, buffet, and wardrobe are now called disaster furniture.
