1940-50 perched bird lamp, alabaster, brass and regula

Beautiful table lamp that I date from the early 1950s (or very late 1940s). The style is still reminiscent of art deco but the curved brass mounting on an alabaster base is classic from the 1950s; the design of the patinated spelter sculpture also becomes more classic again. The lamp is ready for use: it has been completely dismantled and cleaned, the wiring has been redone, the socket and switch are old but cleaned and checked. The base is in alabaster, the frame in brass, the globe in opaline glass, the bird in regula. Traces of wear in places on the patina of the bird but nothing notable. Old copper/metal e14 socket in perfect condition (cleaned and checked). The felt under the base has been replaced, which will protect your furniture from scratches.
