Deetjen silver silver metal vintage sugar tongs with net and vermeil tip

This elegant sugar clip is made of silver metal from the goldsmith house deetjen. Deetjen is an alsatian goldsmith's house recognized since the beginning of the 19th century. The silvering quality is excellent. A nice cutlery to serve the sugar pieces: the sugar tongs accompany the sugar bowl. It is decorated with a simple net, very sober. The spoon is made of gilded metal. In silver metal, it bears the hallmark of the firm deetjen. In good condition, this sugar tongs measures 11.5 cm. I report traces of use and oxidation.
