Rare large spirit decanter, antique, made of hand-cut crystal, with an elongated bottle shape featuring vertical cut facets and an impressive original faceted spherical stopper. The high facet and base are decorated with a 16-pointed star. The quality of the cut and its star-shaped base evoke the productions of major European crystal manufacturers from the first half of the 20th century, particularly the 1920s-30s, with a style very similar to that of Baccarat, unsigned and of unidentified model. It also recalls certain creations by Swedish designer Elis Bergh for Scandinavian glassworks of the same period. Height of 31.5 cm with the stopper, 25.5 cm without, diameter 9 cm. Very good overall condition, clear crystal without deposits. Some light signs of use, a few small bubbles in the mass, rare discreet micro-chips on some edges and on the stopper, as well as slight internal wear of the neck due to the stopper's friction over time, a harmonious and coherent piece for its age. Weighs approximately 800-900g.
