Large glazed stoneware jug/pitcher

Antique Provençal stoneware pitcher or jug with a yellow glaze, complete with its lid. 1960s. When acquired, this pitcher was covered in lemon-yellow paint on its entire lower half, obscuring the white slip line and the beautiful glaze drips that give it so much charm. We have stripped and vigorously scrubbed it. A few traces of the original color remain. Otherwise, it is in good condition; there is a chip on the base and a small chip on the neck. The two handles and the spout are in perfect condition. Suitable for indoor or outdoor decoration, for holding bouquets or dried plants, for example. It looks particularly striking when combined with other similar materials. Dimensions: 27 X 36 X 25 cm. Carefully packaged.
