Large jug / small goat in glazed stoneware

Old Provençal jug or small goat in yellow glazed stoneware. 1960s. When acquired, this jug was covered in a lemon yellow paint on its entire lower half, obscuring the line of white slip as well as the beautiful drip of the glaze that gives it so much charm. We have stripped and vigorously scrubbed it. However, some traces of the colour remain. Otherwise, it is well preserved; there is a chip on the base and a chipping area on the neck. The two handles and the spout are in perfect condition. As decoration for outdoors or indoors, for receiving bouquets or dried plants, for example.
