Large english oval ridgway dish, "windsor" model. Fine english earthenware ('ironstone'). Decor in blue on white monochrome representing a pheasant in flight and a butterfly in the middle of lush flowers; lobed border. English manufacture, before 1982. In excellent condition: no accidents, no scratches from use or traces of friction. Dimensions: l 35 cm, w 28 cm, h 4 cm. ✨ "windsor" is a cover made by ridgway in the 1950s of the "asiatic pheasants" motif which, with the "blue willow" motif, was one of the stars of english transferware in the 19th century century.
