Superb vintage pitcher with a sculptural silhouette, typical of the 1950s and 1960s, adorned with a spectacular dripping glaze in shades of cocoa brown, lilac, pearl blue, and golden ochre. Its relief decoration of grape clusters and stylized leaves evokes both the French ceramic tradition and the organic modernism of mid-century West German design. Its fluid and glossy texture, controlled drips, and expressive handle make it a distinctive decorative piece, perfect on its own or stacked with colorful vases and pitchers. The base, numbered 275/17, corresponds to a model referenced in French and Belgian productions of the 1950s, very similar to the post-war creations of Saint-Clément or Fives-Lille. Height: 17.5 cm, length from handle to spout 16.5 cm, diameter at widest point 11 cm. Beautiful vintage condition, glossy glaze, slight wear to the base rim. A pitcher with modernist and organic accents, perfect for adding a colorful and expressive mid-century touch to a slow living and period design interior.
