Italian desk lamp attr. to GCME, 1960s

This petite Italian mid-century desk lamp was made in the 1960s in Italy. Based on its shape and used materials, this lamp almost certainly was made by G.C.M.E. Lampadari, a renowned Italian lighting producer. Lamp size is H: 35 / W: 22 / D: 22 cm. The lamp features a disc-shaped shade that emits light in two directions. It is made of milk-white glass surrounded by a brass ring, creating a soft, glare-free illumination. Both the shade and the brass arm are fully adjustable, allowing the light to be directed exactly where needed. The lamp stands on a round marble base, which provides excellent stability while complementing the warm tones of the brass.
