Candlestick Sandstone of the Marais

This candlestick in slightly pyrite sandstone combining linen and brown enamelling, is stamped marsh sandstone 1960/70 (hollow stamp on the back). We can almost see the potter's turn in a spiral from its wide cup to the bobèche. It is a hand candle holder with a charming earpiece. Nice handcrafted work of this vintage piece that can also be transformed into a vase with dried flowers or offbeat pocket tray. Good condition, diameter 15 cm - height 13 cm.
