Art Deco lamp "Mazda" wood and glass

An icon of Art Deco design, this Mazda table lamp was created in the spirit of the 1920s–1940s and manufactured in France by Mazda in the 1950s. It captivates with the balance of its proportions and the quality of its materials (black wood, ribbed opaline glass). The base in wood and silvered metal exhibits a beautiful shine, without scratches or flaws. The structure is complemented by a cream white lacquered metal dome, highlighted with a gold trim, original to the piece. The whole is in excellent condition. Only very slight signs of use are noted on one side of the dome, which are invisible once the lamp is lit (see photos). The electrical system and plug are original and fully functional.
