1960s Danish mid-century teak armchair ‘GM11’ by Svend Åge Eriksen for Glostrup Møbelfabrik

Beautiful vintage ‘GM11’ armchair designed by Svend Åge Eriksen for Glostrup Møbelfabrik, Denmark during the 1960s. Elegant Scandinavian modern design with sculptural solid teak armrests, organic lines and beautifully balanced proportions. The chair combines refined Danish craftsmanship with excellent seating comfort and a light architectural appearance characteristic of high-quality mid-century furniture from the period. The teak frame remains in very beautiful original vintage condition with only light age-related signs of use. The upholstery has been completely renewed by a professional upholsterer in black vegan leather. Dimensions: width 62 X height 77 X depth 45 cm; seat height 45 cm.
