White porcelain teapot from the Louis Lourioux factory in Foëcy (Cher), adorned with a romantic decoration of small pink roses enhanced with golden floral motifs. Its stout silhouette, angular spout, and geometric handle give it a decidedly modern line despite the delicacy of its decoration. The L. Lourioux factory was one of the great French porcelain houses of the 20th century. The Pyroluxe stamp designates porcelain designed to better withstand thermal shocks thanks to specific firing and formulation, reflecting the technical research conducted by the Lourioux workshops in the post-war period. In excellent vintage condition, with beautiful gilding and some light signs of age (see photos). Length from spout to handle 21 cm, height with lid 16 cm, height without lid 12 cm, diameter at widest point 14 cm, estimated capacity approximately 1L. Modernist lines and delicate roses in a rare balance.
