Murano red art crystal pitcher vase

Absolutely stunning and iconic mid-century jug vase. This imposing and striking piece is hand blown in thick moulded ribs, with a red coated glass body, which fades to a yellow shadow in the lower part of the body. The vase has a split neck with one element raised to form a spout-like point, while the other rounds off to attach to the body of the vase in the form of a handle. One of the finest pieces of murano art glass, the vase has a flat polished base and is unmarked. In good condition, with age wear to the base and some very light marks of age and use to the body.
