Roth Keramik Fat Lava "Guitar" vase

Rare roth ceramic vase from the mid-century in vivid orange outlined with a black lava glaze. This "guitar vase" was the vase designed by dorothea roth and was manufactured in west germany by roth ceramics factory in the 1970s and bears a model number 312. The vase has a beautiful modernist design and is hand painted. These vases were produced in five colors. The vase is a truly iconic piece from the fat lava era of the 1970s and one of the finest examples of greasy lava vases from roth keramik, west germany. A rare piece for a beautiful collection.
