Large vintage chest of drawers with four drawers and one door in oak, circa 1960s

Large vintage mid-century Scandinavian style chest of drawers with compass legs, circa 1960. This piece of furniture is made of wood, with a rich, dark, chocolate brown oak veneer and a varnished finish. It features 4 chamfered drawers, which open and close perfectly. The interior of the drawers is clean; the two bottom drawers show some slight signs of use (see photos). The practical storage unit, with a door on the right side, has a removable central shelf for additional storage (see photos). All drawers and the cabinet door have their original brass handles, which are in very good used condition (see photos). The side panels with angles add dynamism and originality to the piece (see photos). The compass legs give height, elegance and lightness to the piece. Finally, the wood color features both dark, rich tones and warmer hues, making this piece a real eye-catcher whether in an entryway, bedroom, or living room. The piece is stable and sturdy. The piece is in good overall, original, vintage condition, with some light marks, signs of use and previous use consistent with its age, as well as a patina of age, as you would expect, on the entire structure, top, side panels, edges, trim, interior and exterior of the drawers and cabinet (see detailed photos). The piece has been carefully cleaned, oiled, and waxed, respecting its original patina.
