Rustic Solid Wood Milking Stool – Brutalist Design Stool

Rustic antique stool with a small hook beneath the seat—a vintage milking stool crafted from solid wood, originating from France, dating to approximately the mid-20th century. This vintage milking stool exudes character. Typically fashioned from scrap wood found on the farm, such pieces embrace the natural imperfections of the timber; in this instance, a remnant of tree bark remains attached to the underside of the seat, lending the stool its unique charm. Its timeless, simplistic design allows it to blend seamlessly into a wide variety of interior styles. The piece is in excellent vintage condition, showing signs of age and use consistent with its history—including age-related cracks—yet it remains remarkably sturdy and solid.
