Late 19th century Louis XV-style office chair

Very beautiful louis xv-style office chair, made of natural wood, with a hectic back, richly carved with shells, foliage and acanthus, ending with curved feet with volutes. It is covered with brown leather trim and upholstery nails. Great finesse in the execution of the decorations of this chair. The leather trim on the seat and front of the back is impeccable, it is not vintage and had to be redone later. On the other hand, on the back of the back it presents, wear, cracks and a small tear, due to the presence probably, of the chair too close to a heat source. There are leather sticker patches to easily restore these even if this is part of the charm of this old chair. Former presence of small holes of woodworms but the one was treated entirely for safety.
