This unique sideboard was manufactured in Sweden during the 1960s. It is made from wood and finished in two kinds of veneer: rosewood and burl birch wood with irregular, strong grain from rare perennial defects on the tree. Burls yield a very peculiar and highly figured wood, prized for its beauty and rarity. Moreover, the sideboard has a pair of sliding doors. The sides are made from one piece of wood.
