Vase in Lunéville faience from the Keller and Guérin factory. The decoration of this vase is a variant in terms of colours and patterns from the classic collection (Réverbère Fin) that has made the Lunéville factory world-renowned (however, the "floral" motif remains ever-present). The typology of the signature indicates a dating from the 1980s/1990s. Height: 26 cm. Diameter at the widest point: approximately 12.5 cm. Diameter at the neck: 6.7 cm. A bit of history: Founded in 1730, the Lunéville factory is one of the most famous manufacturers of faience production in the 18th and 19th centuries. The reason is simple: all the raw materials necessary for its production are already available on site (wood for the kilns, clay/kaolin for the paste). In 1892, the faience factories of Keller and Guérin and Saint Clément merged and then dominated the French market (the faience factory notably worked with the greatest artists of the time such as Emile Gallé, Richard Micque, and Paul Louis Cyfflé).
