Table mat 50's. Extensible, it unfolds its complex geometric shapes of squares or diamonds resting on small ball feet. It is in very good condition, without trace of oxidation, just a few small scratches of use (see photos) and one of the rods moves slightly, without this prejudicing the aesthetics or the solidity of the object. This superb piece in chrome-plated steel, which still remains as contemporary as ever 70 years after its creation, is of course intended to serve as a flat bottom, but can also be diverted as a decorative element, for example by hanging it on a dark wall on which the ball feet will detach the flat bottom of the wall, giving a relief effect.
