The Charlottenborg lounge chair was designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1936. He first presented it at the Charlottenborg Spring Exhibition in 1937, and since then it has been named after the castle. The chair was originally called AJ 237 and was part of a series of original rattan chairs. The Charlottenborg lounge chair was one of Arne Jacobsen's favorite lounge chairs and was part of the interior design of his famous holiday home called "Knarken", built in 1937. This reissue in White color is designed to offer you comfort optimal and elegant style in your garden or on your terrace. Its robust and lightweight aluminum structure ensures great stability, while its weather-resistant synthetic fiber seat guarantees easy maintenance. Armchair in good general condition, slight scratch on the right armrest.
