Vintage candle holder in yellow dichroic uranium glass ouraline

This delightful candle holder is made of blown yellow molded uranium-bearing glass. Uralin, or uranium-bearing glass, is a uranium glass with a characteristic green-yellow color. Uranium glass is known since the nineteenth century and its production will be banned in the 1940s. Many objects were made of uralin during this period for the originality of its yellow-green dichroic color. In the shape of a flower, a long candle is placed there. Dimension: 6 cm high X 12 cm diameter. I report scratches of use.
