Model 1407 ( with upholstered back) designed by Wim Rietveld and Andre Cordemeyer for Gispen in 1960. Black metal frame and new green upholstery and new foam. Seat Height 35 cm, Seat depth 40 cm André Cordemeyer, was a Dutch designer from the mid-century. He worked for some of the most famous design companies of the Netherland. One of those companies was Gispen, a Dutch manufacturer producing Industrial furniture. Cordemeyer designed many Dutch classics like his 416 lounge chairs, which he designed together with Wim Rietveld, the 1442 easy chair and sofa and his famous Cleopatra daybed for Auping.
