Small hanging console table in painted hammered metal and composite wood by Jean Maurice Rothschild (1902-1998). A French decorator and designer whose most famous works were created for the ocean liner Normandie, as well as for the furniture in the Eiffel Tower restaurant. Work from the mid-20th century. A surprising small hanging console table (thanks to its two hooks located on its back), depicting an intriguing figure made of molded wood (composite wood). Topped with a slightly veined, intact, 2 cm thick, removable white marble. In good overall condition.
