Large modernist empty-pocket cup in blown Murano glass Italy blue violet 1960

This magnificent sculptural bowl is made of colored murano glass. It is a modernist creation by a glassmaker from murano, the venetian island with famous glassmakers. It dates from the 1960s-1970s. In blown modeled glass, this large fruit bowl offers a random organic shape in shades of blue and purple - we can see a sea anemone, a snowflake... We can present fruits or flowers, make a monumental candlestick with a beautiful central candle, or receive eggs and murano glass candies... In very good condition, it measures 31 cm in span and 18 cm in height. I note scratches from use.
