Walnut bedside table in Louis XV style

Elegant bedside table with 3 drawers and raised edges on 3 sides of the top. High and slender legs, the 4 feet are curved and end in rolls, in the Louis XV style. It features 3 small storage drawers with golden metal knob handles. The drawer fronts are slightly curved to match the shape of the furniture. The top is made entirely of walnut, with raised edges on the sides and back. Discreet carved decorations in the wood on the drawer fronts, the lower frieze, and the curve of the legs, including acanthus leaves and shells. Traditional craftsmanship from the 1960s in a village in southern France, in Aveyron. Usable interior dimensions of the drawers: 30 cm wide, 28 cm deep, 6.5 cm high. Small piece of furniture in excellent condition, perfectly sound, stable, and functional.
