A Gorgeous Pair of Large Yellow Antique Shutter Doors

A great pair of large framed shutter doors, from rajasthan. Their size and design leads one to suspect it was possibly a large cupboard doorway, rather than a window. The small panels in the doors were once glazed, whilst the back houses a large mirror. In solid authentic condition, it has very attractive and original, aged distressed paintwork, the weathered patina revealing many decades of use. It’s a very special, unique and very decorative piece. Dimensions width 76cm height 153cm depth 7cm.
