This ancient coffee glass or mazagran is made of thick blown glass. It was mouth-blown and cut with regular ribs. It is a coffee or absinthe glass used in bistros and cafes in the nineteenth and early twentieth century. It can be an absinthe glass: absinthe glasses had a tank at the bottom of the glass, an engraved line or the base of the glass cut for the dose of absinthe, which was then diluted with water. It is in good condition and measures 14 cm high and 8.5 cm in diameter. I report scratches of use.
