Set of seven transparent glass stemmed glasses, blown and moulded, dating from the 1930s to the 1950s. The bowl features a soft and irregular wave, noticeable to the eye and touch. This variation in material, resulting from the mould and manual finishing, creates a subtle play of reflections and a very elegant visual presence on the table. The stem is straight and short, and the thick circular base ensures good stability. No applied decoration: the design arises solely from the glass and its shaping. These glasses were intended for versatile use: white wine, cooked wine, port, aperitifs, but also table water, according to the domestic practices of the time. The glass does not seek industrial perfection. It has a slight wave, captures light, and complements the gesture. Dimensions. Height: 12.5 cm. Diameter of the rim: 5.5 cm. Height of the bowl: 6.5 cm. Unsigned glass. Origin not definitively attributed. Estimated dating: 1930s-1950s. €38.
