6 Chairs by Baumann, produced by Pierre Guariche, restored (unicorn)

A magnificent set of six restored Licorne chairs by Pierre Guariche for Baumann, 1960. Restoration: The chairs were completely stripped, removing the original dark varnish and dark oak stain. They were sanded with various grits until finished. After cleaning, a light oak stain was applied, followed by several coats of matte marine varnish. The original faux leather upholstery is in excellent condition and has been preserved. It has been thoroughly cleaned, and the padding is comfortable and of good quality. The chairs are very stable. The solid beechwood frame is well-preserved and free of wormholes. Dimensions: 42 cm wide. 46 cm deep. 78 cm high. 46 cm seat height. More photos or information available upon request.
