Quimper, hubaudière-bousquet factory, "odetta" line: set of polychrome sandstone mugs with numbered geometric decoration. Between 1922 and 1940. The earthenware that has been particularly renewed during the art-deco era. The "hb" factory (the hubaudière-bousquet) was bought in 1914 by the industrialist jules verlingue, who wanted to bring out the creation of traditional folk characters, and created the line "odetta" ("the workshops of the odet") in 1922. Under the impetus of rené quivillic, a new style, often coming from geometric abstraction, appeared. It is a whole ornamental vocabulary that is invented on pieces full of modernity. The "odetta" adventure ended in 1940. Note a restoration on 1 mug at the level of a cove.
