Leaf-shaped catchall dish in barbotine / vintage majolica Flamed enamels

Charming vintage ceramic leaf-shaped bowl/trinket dish with cut and wavy edges. It stands out for its beautiful work of polychrome flamed glazes in autumnal shades: a speckled beige background highlighted by a bright green centre, warm brown on the veins, and a contrasting burgundy/purple border. Ideal as a trinket dish on a dresser or entrance console, as a soap dish, or simply as a decorative object on a coffee table in a curiosity cabinet or chic country house style.
