Art Nouveau wardrobe in walnut and pine - 1900-1915

Technical sheet. * Period / Style: Jugendstil (Art Nouveau), circa 1900-1915. Origin: Former Prussia. * Materials: Facades, sides, cornice, and uprights in solid walnut and walnut veneer. Internal structure, shelves, and back in solid pine. New bevelled central mirror. Original stained glass in textured and clear glass on the side doors. * Hardware: Restored original brass handles, new locks, modern thick brass hinges to stabilise the doors. * Finish: Traditional shellac varnish (closed pores), high gloss. * Dimensions: Width 176.5 cm|Height 209 cm|Depth 75 cm. Description and condition. Three-door bedroom wardrobe with a frame and panel structure, resting on a base with turned front feet. The central section includes a hanging rail and a top shelf, complemented at the bottom by three drawers. A hidden secret compartment is integrated into the internal structure of the piece. The high arched cornice is topped with a floral sculpture. The item has undergone a complete restoration. The structure is perfectly stable, clean, and treated. The shellac varnish provides a beautiful mirror effect while protecting the walnut. The interior in solid pine has been cleaned and preserved. The doors operate smoothly thanks to the new hinges. Functional locks with keys. Ready for installation.
