Rectangular copper and metal planter, 1960s

Copper sheet flower planter with a long rectangular container and a black-painted metal supporting structure. Scandinavian production, 1960s. The long copper sheet container is supported by four slender square-section legs in black-painted metal, extending along the corners and precisely defining the structure. The upper edge is outlined by a dark profile that echoes the legs, while the riveted joints remain visible as part of the construction. The contrast between copper and black metal, together with the elongated proportions and essential geometry, places the planter within Scandinavian production of the mid-20th century. The copper surface retains a pronounced and irregular patina developed over time, an integral part of the character of the piece. Good condition. It may show signs of age.
