Louis XVI style typewriter desk from the mid-20th century.

Superb compact typing desk (or executive secretary desk) vintage, dating from the 1950s to 1960s. It is an asymmetrical desk with a single pedestal, entirely made of solid wood and noble wood veneer (most likely blonde oak or mahogany given the warm amber hue). The interiors of the drawers show careful and solid craftsmanship. It features 6 drawers with lovely round and moulded original golden brass pull knobs. The tapered legs, in Reconstruction / Mid-century style, end with stunning golden brass protective caps (both front and back). It is in good condition, the structure is sound and stable, and the wood's patina is warm. It can be used in the middle of a room as the back is also well-finished. Width 100, depth 45, height 64/70.
