These imposing solid mahogany cabinets with gilded bronze mounts, styled in the French Empire design of Louis XVI, previously adorned the luxurious Intercontinental Paris Le Grand Hotel. Recently renovated by interior designer Pierre-Yves Rochon with appealing updates, the cabinets are now ready to enhance any home as a wardrobe, dry bar, or unique TV cabinet. Combining 20th-century craftsmanship with an imperial aesthetic, the cabinets offer a sturdy structure, excellent workmanship, and intricate decorative details. The front features two upper doors and two lower doors with mahogany frames, a central X-shaped decoration, and gilded metal handles. Each side is flanked by architectural columns with ormolu capitals and bases. Inside, the upper section has a retractable door opening system, making it an ideal storage space for a television. The lower compartment, equipped with a luggage rack, includes a small storage area and glass shelves. The decorative friezes in gilded metal highlight classic Empire motifs such as swans, vases, lyres, and romantic figures. These cabinets rest on ball feet at the front and tapered back feet.
