Very beautiful large antique blown glass bottle, colourless, French craftsmanship, possibly from Normandy or the Centre, early 20th century 1900-1920. The shape is elegant with a marked shoulder and a long slightly flared neck, finished with a thick ring, original cork stopper. The strongly rounded base (raised bottom) indicates its use for storing fermented or sparkling beverages, cider, vinegar... A well-visible pontil mark under the base. Height 31.5cm, maximum diameter 14.5cm. Overall good condition. No cracks or chips, clean glass without interior deposits. There are simply a few more or less visible usage scratches, particularly on one side. Slight wear at the top of the cork. Approximately 1kg.
