Vintage Danish pendant lamp PH 5 by Poul Henningsen, Louis Poulsen, 1958

The PH 5 lamp is an icon of Danish design that has gained immense popularity worldwide. Designed by the famous designer and architect Poul Henningsen in 1958, the PH 5 is still manufactured by Louis Poulsen today. The shape of the lamp is based on the principle of a reflecting system, which directs light not only downwards but also to the sides, illuminating the lamp itself. Thanks to its design, the PH 5 emits diffuse, glare-free light with a warm tone. Dimensions: Diameter: 50 cm. Height: 27.6 cm. The lamp is in very good condition, with slight imperfections. It dates from the 1970s. The lamp has been carefully cleaned and has the original cord. A new metal ceiling rose is included. The lamps are shipped from Denmark.
