Large oil on canvas signed by Albert Blitz and dated 1967 in the bottom right. A very beautiful figurative composition representing a seated figure, glass in hand, in front of a laid table. A particularly expressive work, characteristic of figurative painting from the 1960s, with a generous texture and a soft palette punctuated with blue, green, and yellow. The large format and the very distinctive presence of the figure give a lot of character to this canvas. The work is presented in its fine period frame in a pink/taupe hue. The canvas is mounted on a wooden stretcher with a central crossbar. Generally in good condition considering its age, with visible signs and marks of time, particularly on the back and the frame.
