Louis XVI style commode in marquetry – Marble top

Beautiful antique chest of drawers in Louis XVI style, made of wood and veneer, featuring elegant geometric marquetry work with a cube effect on the front and sides. The chest opens with three drawers, two of which are large and richly decorated with marquetry. It stands on four tapered and fluted legs. The uprights are sculpted and fluted, adorned with gilded bronze decorations featuring crossed foliage motifs. The handles and keyholes are also in gilded bronze. The whole is topped with a beautiful veined marble top in shades of beige, cream, and ochre. ⚠️ In good condition with signs of use and age: scratches, small dents, marks, wear, and a few small losses to the veneer.
