A set of three glazed ceramic pieces, with expressive shapes and decorations, illustrating the craftsmanship of 19th-century regional folk art. The set includes: a tubular-spout ewer with an ochre-yellow glaze, decorated with stylized plant motifs hand-painted in green, brown, and black; a vase with a flared neck and undulating handles, with a glossy black glaze, richly decorated with floral motifs and polychrome spirals, typical of southern French decorative production; a small jug with a twisted handle, also with a black glazed background, enhanced with stylized floral decorations in cream, ochre, and brown tones. These pieces are distinguished by their sculptural forms, their naive and dynamic decorations, and the quality of their glazes, offering a beautiful balance between utility and decoration. Characteristics: Period: 19th century Material: Glazed ceramic Decoration: Hand-painted floral and geometric motifs Origin: Regional folk art (probably Southern France) Condition: Good overall condition Minor wear consistent with age and slight irregularities in the firing process, with no major cracks or visible repairs Dimensions: Height: 22 to 25 cm A highly decorative set, ideal for displaying in a period kitchen, a collection of regional ceramics, or a characterful interior.
