1950s “Eklipta” wall lamp by Arne Jacobsen for Louis Poulsen, Denmark

A beautiful 'AJ Eklipta' wall lamp designed by Arne Jacobsen and manufactured by Louis Poulsen in Denmark around 1950. Made of high quality milk glass in a beautiful round shape with an impressive diameter of 40 cm. This lamp is an iconic example of Danish mid-century lighting! It has a round white metal base and a central light source that is nicely diffused through the white glass, gently spreading across the entire surface. This allows a beautiful warm light to emit when the piece is switched on. A beautiful and elegant addition to any interior. It remains in very good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
