In 1811, pierre nicolas perrier married rose adélaide jouët and founded the perrier-jouët champagne wine trading house in epernay, in the marne. In 1854, charles perrier succeeded his parents and brought the french bulls to the english court in 1861: perrier-jouët became his official supplier. Then, a few years later, the house became a supplier to the french imperial court. At the beginning of the twentieth century champagne was fashionable and the brand had the slogan: "the belle époque is champagne". This is how the belle époque cuvée was born, which became famous... After the death of charles perrier, the house was taken over by his nephews by marriage in 1878. Art lovers, henri and octave gallice often went to paris where they met émile gallé. Passionate about the artist's sinuous designs, they asked him to make a drawing that will be affixed to the first magnums of the belle époque cuvée: this is how the famous anemone tourbillon is born... Which will become the emblem of the maison perrier-jouët. Six champagne flutes from perrier-jouët, in engraved crystal, twentieth century. Height: 15 cm.
