Louis-Philippe mirror in wood with moulded stucco decoration, second half of the 19th century. The frame, with characteristic rounded upper corners of the style, is adorned with a continuous roll of golden rosettes and scrolls on a dark brown background imitating wood grain. Beaded border on the inner edge. Back made of assembled fir boards, period structure. Generous size — 80 × 59 cm — suitable for a bedroom wall, an entrance, or above a console. In an interior combining old and natural elements, it brings elegant verticality and that depth of patina that new pieces cannot replicate. The glass shows early signs of oxidation of the silvering at the bottom, visible but not intrusive. A few minor chips of stucco on the frame, with one more pronounced at the top. Patina and wear consistent with the age of the piece. Dimensions: H. 80 cm × W. 59 cm.
