Set of 7 antique Ercuis table knives – silver-plated & wine design

For sale, a beautiful set of 7 table knives from the prestigious French silversmith Ercuis. This model is distinguished by its asymmetrical and fluid silhouette, very characteristic of the clean and modern design of the 1960s (Mid-Century). Ideal for complementing an existing service, for tableware enthusiasts, or for a restoration project. • Quantity: 7 pieces (a set of 6 + 1 additional spare or serving knife). • Marking: The inscription "ERCUIS" is clearly visible on each blade. • Condition: The silver-plated handles currently show some oxidation and dark patina visible in the photos (due to time and storage). Note for restoration: The knives have already undergone a gentle initial cleaning with sorrel salt, which has resulted in a very nice improvement. With a new bath or polishing using products specifically suited for silverware (such as Mirror Argentil, white Meudon, or silversmith's paste), the silver plating will regain its original shine and brilliance.
