Set of 6 Luterma chairs, "Banana" model

A set of six "banana" chairs stamped Luterma (Estonia), 1955/58. An original model in its construction and design. Very cleverly, it is the backrest, normally a comfort element, that is the "keystone" of the chair's structure. Remarkable stability. Patinated varnish, fairly light blond. This chair is nicknamed "banana" in France; it is a product of the Luterma (Estonia) firm under the influence of Polish architects Wanda Genga and Marian Sigmund (A587 chair). Height: 82 cm.
