Jar Armchair in Black and White Velvet Mid-Century, Poland, 1960s

Chairs designed in the 1960s by Professor Rajmund Halas, jar type model. Made from beech wood. These chairs have been completely renovated: the upholstery has been redone, the wood refreshed and painted in matte black. The seat and backrest are covered in the highest quality black and white Spanish velvet. A vibrant collection of velvet created by the design studio, featuring monochrome or multicoloured micro-patterns. The matte linen effect base contrasts with the shine of the velvet to create a play of light and colour. Fabric composition: 59% PES, 34% VI, 7% CO. The chairs are stable and very elegant. Produced in the former furniture factory in Goleniów in the 1960s. Customisation of wood and fabric colours is possible.
