candlestick Erik Magnussen - Royal Selangor

Rare candlestick by Erik Magnussen from 1987. Magnussen is best known for his work for Stelton. The candlestick was designed for Royal Selangor and is made of pewter/tin and glass. Consisting of three parts: a conical base, a glass disc to catch drips, and a cylindrical candle holder that screws into the stem and holds the glass disc in place. The design is also on display at The British Museum. The candlestick is marked on the bottom: Royal Selangor Pewter, EM Dimensions: H 18 X L 13 X W 13 cm. Weight: 470 grams. In excellent condition.
